Feb 24th, 1970 - Jan 20th, 2019Samuel Bruce Vaughn Jr., age 48, of Olney, Illinois, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at his home.
He was born February 24, 1970, in Centralia, the son of Samuel Bruce Vaughn Sr. and Betty May (Foutch) Vaughn. He married Chasity Dawn Hamilton on February 9, 2009, and she preceded him in death August 26, 2017.
Sam had worked as a welder. He enjoyed fishing, and was a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by a daughter: Lorraine Lynn Vaughn; sister: Dianna Rainey (husband Robert) of Sherwood, Arkansas; nephews and niece: Chanc Rainey, Jessika Rainey, and Austin Rainey; great-nieces and great-nephews: Jelissa Rainey, Jeradyn Rainey, Xzander Rainey, Chandler Rainey, and Lychelle Martin; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Stuart and Tressa Hamilton of Flora; and Chasity’s daughter: Ariel Marie Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Teresa Smith; and a great-niece: Joselin Rainey.
