Mariland Louise Bullard, age 68, of Xenia, Illinois, passed away early Sunday morning, October 20, 2019, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born February 27, 1951, in Wayne County, the daughter of Opal Wayne and Henrietta Maria (Smith) Colclasure. She was united in marriage to Wayne Bullard on February 13, 1984, in Flora and they have shared 35 wedding anniversaries together.
Mariland owned and managed the Do Drop In Beauty Shop for over 30 years and worked for the Clay County Probation Office for 3 years. She enjoyed painting, cooking, and baking and will be remembered as a giving and compassionate person.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Bullard of Xenia; children: Tim Stephenson (Stacey) of Xenia and Pam Kincaid (Archie) of Louisville; stepchildren: Beth Word (Jeremy) of Springfield and Aaron Bullard of Salem; grandchildren: Kyle Kincaid of St. Louis, Clayton and Hayley Word of Springfield, and Dave and Lon Bullard of Kell; and a sister-in-law: Delores Colclasure of Flora.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: David Colclasure Rose. Additionally, following Mariland’s passing, her brother, Jack Colclasure of Flora passed away.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with expenses and will accepted through the funeral home.
