I have never been good with words but seldomly in life you meet people like Dallas, a real gift for anyone who was fortunate enough to know her... She has opened her home to me and raised me like if I was her own kid... Supported me when I needed it and punished me when it was needed. I have grown old in the meantime but still to this date I always look up to her as an example... I have been blessed by having the chance to meet her and live with her for a while: Thank God. My deepest condolences to Diane, Linda and Stacey. .. "the girls" as she always called them. Words don't always cut it and this is one of those instances but I am sure that she will be missed so much by everybody. Mi manchi tanto "mamma"...

When my son Stefano left his family and Italy to get Flora he was a young kid. When three years later Stefano came back to Italy he was a young mature man, ready to face university and his future life. The credit for this mainly belongs to you Dallas, as Stefano just wrote, and I have always been grateful to you and Bill: for these reasons I'll never forget you, for me you will always be the "american mom" of Stefano. Sorry for my bad english Dallas, but my feelings come from deep inside me,

Dear Diane, Linda, and Stacey, What can anyone do to offer sympathy when you lose your mother? No one can replace your mother. Dallas was larger than life, packed in a small shapely package. Ever since I was a child, I never saw her dressed in anything that wasn’t perfect. Always smiling, always full of energy, always ready to go or do anything! A ray of sunshine in everyone’s life. I am so sorry that Wylie and I missed her wake. We would have been there if we had known sooner. I take comfort knowing she and Uncle Bill will be together now. You. “Girls” hold each other tight now. Love, Wylie and Rita
Dallas was a great lady and will be missed dearly. To her family we share our love, our grace, and our support during this very difficult time.
so sorry for your families loss. prayers
My greatest memory of Dallas is when she was a H.S.Freshman. Back then, Floyd C. Smith was principal and I was the H.S. secretary. Together, from paper registrations, not designating male or female, we made the class assignments. On the first day of school, bewildered Dallas came in to the office to say she was in a boys P.E. class. After telling me her name, I assured her I would take care of it and she was relieved. I'll never forgot her short stature, barely tall enough to peer over the tall wood counter in the old office building at that time. Dallas was a sweet young lady and always remained that way all of her life. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family.
Stacey so sorry about the loss of your momma
Diane, Linda, Stacey and Dallas's brothers, I so sorry to hear of Dallas's passing. I have known Dallas most of my life and though I have only seen her a few times in the more recent years, she always had a ready smile for me when I did. You girls may not remember but she and Bill were friends with my parents and I remember what great fun they all used to have on the Elks Bowling trips. I remember meeting you girls when you were little girls when we visited your home once with Mom and Dad. What fun they always had with my Mom and Dad and I know they loved the dances, as did my folks. You were truly blessed to have had her with you for so long and I know she will be missed by many, but am sure she and your Dad are dancing now at long last being reunited. She was a joy to know.
So sorry for your loss. I have many good memories of playing golf and cards with Dallas. She will be missed.
Girls I just read this. I am so very sorry. Don't hang your heads. You did all YOU could and she knew it. Prayers for all of you

I have fond memories of the time we spent with your Mom and Dad back in the day. When we lived in Flora and were starting our families, we spent a lot of time together. Your mom was very special and caring.
