David Caroll “Geo” Harrison, age 72, of Louisville, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning, October 15, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

      He was born August 2, 1951, in Flora, the son of George Ernest and Inez Cozette (Britton)  Harrison.

      David spent his early life working in the oil fields.  He enjoyed days spent hunting, finding good fishing spots, and cooking hearty meals.  Catching a St. Louis Cardinals game on television was one of his favorite pastimes.  He was a member of the Flora VFW, and appreciated the longtime friendships he had made over the years.

      He is survived by 2 sons: Josh Harrison of Olney and Jacob Harrison of Lawrenceville; a granddaughter: Gabriella Harrison; 3 brothers: George Eugene (Sue) Harrison of Robinson, Larry Dean Harrison (June Conard) of Florida, J. D. (Mitzie) Harrison of Ingraham; 1 sister: Patsy June Harrison of Huntingburg, Indiana; and nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
