Margaret Clara Beck, age 70, of Flora, Illinois, and formerly of Randolph County, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

   She was born July 19, 1949, in Chester, Illinois, the daughter of Harlan Peter and Della Marie (Copple) Beck. 

   Margaret had worked at Gilster-Mary Lee and had been a CNA at St. Ann’s Healthcare in Chester.  She enjoyed riding horses and crocheting, and her favorite meal was catfish.

   She is survived by a daughter: Charlene (John) Beck Voudrie of Walsh; a son: Richard Beck of Mt. Carmel; 6 grandchildren: James (Miranda) Voudrie, William Voudrie, Harlan Voudrie, Brian Voudrie, Jon Jon Voudrie, and Sarah Voudrie; 2 great-grandchildren: Rowan and Caleb Voudrie; 2 brothers: William Beck of Flora and Robert (Annette) Beck of Monroe, MO; a sister-in-law: Janet Beck of Chester; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Patricia Vasquez; and a brother: James Beck.

   There will be no services.  Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora assisted the family with arrangements.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.  Please make checks payable to Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
